The Northwest Boy’s Varsity Soccer Team fell in a hard-fought battle at Holt High School on Monday night. The Rams struck first in the contest scoring both their goals in the first 40 minutes. The Mounties looked the more threatening team, but could only muster one goal in an increasingly scrappy and physical second half. Sophomore Douglas Henry scored the Mounties goal, the first of his high school career, with Evan Conant getting credit for the assist as Northwest lost 2-1. The Mounties next contest is Tuesday, September 8th at Haslett, starting at 6:30 p.m.
