Golfers Take 3rd Straight Tournament Title Monday at Tecumseh The Northwest Golfers competed in the Tecumseh Invitational Monday capturing their 3rd straight tournament title in 26-team field with a team score of 319. The Mounties were paced by the tournament medalist in Jarrett Osterberg with his personal best 18-hole score of 76. Fellow seniors Cody Rowe and Jake Brafford carded 77 and 79 respectively and junior Liam Renaud finished the team score with an 87. Javen Palmer played and came in with an 88. “It was awesome to watch Jarrett play so well today leading the field most of the day at or near par which is the best golf of his career but definitely not unexpected.” Said Coach, Martha Cantlin. “We are in a very rare situation where we have not only won our last 3 events, but that we have done so with three different Mounties as the Tournament Champion as well. I’m quite sure that has not been done by any other team in the State this year.” The Mounties play Tuesday in the second I-8 Conference Jamboree at Hastings.
