In November of 2013, the Northwestern Athletic Department developed and adopted an Athletic Hall of Fame Constitution which established the Northwestern High School Elected Athletic Hall of Fame. The Northwestern Athletic Hall of Fame is organized as a way of maintaining the heritage and tradition of successful athletic programs at Northwestern High School. In addition, it will serve as a means of recognizing, preserving and honoring the athletes, coaches and individuals who made significant contributions to the athletic programs at Northwestern High School. Many individuals have been influential in the “Tiger Tradition" of excellence and have had exemplary accomplishments on the athletic fields and in support of Northwestern Athletic programs. The Northwestern Athletic Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of these individuals who are worthy of recognition as examples for others to emulate. The Hall of Fame consists of three categories or wings for induction. The Hall of Fame wings are the Athlete Wing, Coaches Wing and Athletic Contributor Wing. inductees into the Hall of Fame are chosen by a committee made up of ten individuals. Those ten individuals represent Current Head Coaches, Former Head Coaches, Current Northwestern Students, Athletic Director or designee and members of the Northwestern Community. The 2023 Northwestern Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Class are as follows: Randy Crowe-1975 graduate - Athlete Wing, Lauren Giesecke-2007 graduate - Athlete Wing, Ken Kaufman-Coaches Wing, Dr. Jonathan Rybolt -Contributor Wing.
