Energy was high in James Matthews Gymnasium as the New Washington Mustangs took on the Charlestown Pirates on Tuesday night. The student section cheered on their peers as they fought back in a tightly contested second set. Ultimately the Mustangs dropped three sets to the Pirates, but the team had a strong showing. Stat leaders included 10 digs by Addy Lathem, 3 aces and 1 and 1/2 blocks by Ava Lathem, and 9 kills by Maelyn Sarver. Great job Mustangs!
