New Castle Middle School Athletics

The 8th grade Lady Trojans took on another formidable opponent in the Delta Lady Eagles! It was a hard fought, physical game. The Lady Trojans were carried by tough inside post play from Kenlee Briscoe. The finishing touches were provided by Natalie Estelle who had a game clinching drive for a basket, along with a 3 pointer in the Lady Trojans 24-19 victory. In a game where every possession counted, tough rebounds and defense prevailed through great effort from Lyrric Hazelman, Aubrey Armstrong, and Addison Lee. This team continues to grow, improve, and is learning what it takes to win against tough competition! Scoring for the Lady Trojans: Kenlee Briscoe - 17 Natalie Estelle - 6 Addison Lee - 1 The Lady Trojans move to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
