Referees, coaches, and spectators alike commented on the energy, talent, and teamwork the girls displayed throughout the day. Serving accuracy, phenomenal passing, and a big presence at the net made the Chiefs successful. The eventually fell to league rival Riverview in the semifinals of the tournament after 6 hours of play, but finished in the top 6 of a 20 team tournament.
