The team traveled to Monroe to take on Jefferson and earned their first win of the season against the Bears. After losing the first set, the girls rallied back to win the second set and then a nail-biting third set 17-15. It was a great come-from-behind victory and an even better confidence boost for the girls, as they came off a heartbreaking night earlier in the week against SMCC. Carsyn Sharrow played well for the Chiefs, as did Maci Krzciuk from the libero spot. Abby Russell lead the offensive with another 7 kills.
