The Chiefs opened their season against the Kestrels from SMCC for their first match of the season. After a cancelled tournament and a later start than most, the Chiefs unfortunately fell to the Kestrels. There were some bright spots for the team, however, as Abby Russell lead the team with 7 kills and Maci Krzciuk played well defensively for the Chiefs. The Chiefs will travel to Jefferson to take on the Bears in their second league contest this Wednesday.
