Varsity vs Belleville High School Win Div I Belleville visited Arrowhead to take on the Div II #5 ranked Chiefs. After a hard fought 80 minutes, the Chiefs pulled off another shutout 3-0 and their 5th straight win. Junior Todd Elliott recorded his 5th shutout of the season with some phenomenal saves and his attentiveness. Junior Matt Suciu had one of his best games in the center back position, helping steer the ball clear of the Chief’s goal and marking up the Belleville talented forwards. Senior Captain Marton Krajcz scored the game winner from Sophomore, Hunter Campbell, 15 minutes into the contest. Krajcz struck again solo late in the second when he dribbled from the half line all the way to the goal line. Senior Captain, Maverik Bazzy, created goal #2 when he attacked the midfield with speed and creatively found the on rushing forward, Gonzalo Aragon. Aragon received the ball, beat the keeper, and neatly tucked it away for the point. The Chiefs will be off until next Monday, when they take on Huron League foe Milan in an important league match-up.
