The NCA Lady Lions fell behind 1-0 in the 1st inning, but never looked back en route to a 14-4 victory in the Area Round of the TAPPS Division 4 Softball Playoffs against Fellowship Kennedale! Senior Gracyn Whitsell stifled Fellowship's bats with a solid pitching performance for 5 innings, while all 4 of NCA's Seniors blasted softballs into the field all game long! Both Savannah Spangler and Madison Glendenning hit inside the park homeruns during the contest, while Gracyn Whitsell sent one over left field fence, her 2nd of the year at Steve Shonnamon Field! Abigail Thomas was also 3 for 3 in her 1st 3 at-bats, and the whole Lady Lion batting lineup frustrated a very good Fellowship pitcher with their hot bats the entire game! The Lady Lions will now face Dallas First Baptist Academy on Thursday at 3:00pm in the Regional Round at Fort Worth Christian's softball field! It's a great day to be a Lady Lion!
