All Five NCA Track Guys Qualify for State Meet in Waco & Break School Record

Alex Neal, Gaddiel Nakitare, Luke Scarbrough, Jake Scarbrough, and Cristian Adams all competed in the TAPPS Regional Track Meet at UT-Arlington on Friday, and all 5 qualified for the State Meet in Waco this coming weekend! Alex Neal placed 2nd in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, while Gaddiel Nakitare placed 2nd in both the 100m and 200m. Freshman Cristian Adams, Sophomores Luke & Jake Scarbrough, and Junior Gaddiel Nakitare all ran the 4 by 200m relay, placing 3rd at the meet, and breaking the previous NCA school record with a time of 1:36.18!!! This Fab Five also placed 6th overall, with a team total of 44 points, representing NCA with class amongst the 19 2A Guys Teams competing at UTA!!! These guys will now compete on May 2nd & 3rd at the state meet in Waco! It's a great day to be a Lion!!!
