NCA Varsity Guys Look Sharp in 2 Non-District Playoff Warm-Up Games

NCA's Guys looked sharp in two non-district matchups this week! Tuesday they held Newman Cedar Hill scoreless, pouncing on them from the plate with 8 hits, while Jacob Struble pitched 3 innings, and Noah Hargrove 1 inning of no-hit baseball! Thursday the Lions picked right up where they left off on Tuesday, playing Westlake Charter, a much larger school, and dominating them 11-2! The Lions pitching was again solid, with Brenner Russell, Noah Hargrove, and Carson Drury limiting the Blacksmiths to only 2 hits, and striking out 15 batters!!! Lions bats were hot again racking up 11 hits for the game. Seniors Noah Hargrove, Brenner Russell, & Aidan Adams, led their team to it's last regular season home victory of the year, and made NCA proud to honor them on Senior Night! All 3 guys have been solid for their team all year long, each batting .390 or above, each playing stellar defense, and each setting Christ-like examples of leadership for their younger teammates! Thank you Aidan, Noah, & Brenner also for leading your team to the TAPPS Playoffs for the 1st time in school history! Playoffs are set to begin next Tuesday as the Lions host familiar foe, Prestonwood North, in the 1st round!
