Nazarene Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against Bethesda Christian by a score of 9-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 last Monday. Aidan Adams was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-2. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Will Smithers, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Adams wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Nazarene Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches. Nazarene Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bethesda Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8. We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nazarene Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Azle Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bethesda Christian will challenge rival Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday
