The Munster varsity baseball team delivered a dominant performance on Tuesday night, defeating Lowell 11-3 on the road in a key Northwest Crossroads Conference matchup. With the win, the Mustangs not only bounced back from Monday’s loss but also improved their position in the conference standings. Munster’s offense came alive with 14 hits and a balanced scoring attack, plating runs in six of the seven innings. Z. Wright had a monster night at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and four RBIs. N. Southwell added two doubles of his own as part of a 3-hit, 1-RBI effort. M. Jarrett, D. Schassburger, and K. Shelton each chipped in RBIs, while N. Ribble scored twice as a courtesy runner. On the mound, C. Dumaresq was lights out in relief, tossing 4.2 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five to earn the win. T. Fuller started and struck out four in 2.1 innings of work.
