The Mustangs had athletes in action at multiple meets over the weekend and brought home some strong results. Flashes Showcase – Franklin High School (Friday, April 18): Elora Bliss competed in the 1 Mile Run and finished 5th in her heat with a time of 5:13. Jefferson Sprinters Showcase – Lafayette Jefferson (Friday, April 18): Savannah Nuetzel earned two top-10 finishes: 7th place in the 200m 2nd place in the 400m Garry Nallenweg Chesterton Relays – Chesterton High School (Saturday, April 19): The Mustangs saw several standout performances: 3rd place – Girls 4x1600 relay: Ellis Choi, Julia Casey, Riley Sechowski, Marianna Nyhan 3rd place – Girls 4000m DMR: Julia Casey, Ayana Grove, Elora Bliss, Olivia Ahn 1st place – High Jump: Nina Garner 3rd place – Pole Vault: Daniella Lesina Next Up: Boys and girls track and field travel to Kankakee Valley High School today (Monday, April 21) to take on the Kougars.
