The Munster Mustangs, ranked #10 in the state, earned a key 4-1 varsity win over regional rival Crown Point on April 16. Munster swept the singles courts behind another dominant performance from freshmen Priyanka and Pallavi Tallamraju, who dropped just three games combined at the top two spots. Senior Claire Han added a solid win at #3 singles, and the #1 doubles team of Risha Panigrahi and Berlyn Compton delivered a convincing 6-1, 6-3 victory. Though Crown Point took the #2 doubles point, Munster’s effort across the board secured the team win. On the JV side, the Bulldogs edged the Mustangs 5-2, with Munster's wins coming at #1 and #2 doubles. The Mustangs improve to 2-1 on the season with this statement win on the road.
