The Munster High School Girls Tennis team competed at the Brebeuf Jesuit Invite on April 12, 2025, facing strong opponents in Brebeuf Jesuit and Brownsburg. Against host Brebeuf, the Mustangs fell 2-3 in varsity play. Freshmen Priyanka and Pallavi Tallamraju led the way with impressive straight-set wins at #1 and #2 singles, respectively. Despite their efforts, Brebeuf claimed victories in the remaining matches, including both doubles positions. The JV squad also dropped a tough 0-3 decision. Later in the day, Munster bounced back with a dominant 4-1 win over Brownsburg. All three singles players — Priyanka Tallamraju, Pallavi Tallamraju, and Claire Han — delivered commanding victories, losing just one game combined. The #1 doubles team of Berlyn Compton and Annemarie Fuller added a dramatic comeback win in a third-set tiebreaker. Munster JV earned a 2-1 win behind strong play from Isabella Shin and the doubles duo of Lila Ellul and Sophia Rodriguez. The Mustangs showed great resilience and promise in a competitive day of tennis.
