The Munster Varsity baseball team picked up a big conference win on Monday, April 14, defeating Highland 17-6 at home. The Mustangs combined strong hitting, solid pitching, and smart base running to earn the victory. Z. Wright had a strong day at the plate, collecting three hits and two RBIs. D. Craig also had three hits and drove in three runs. N. Iatrides led the team with four RBIs on four at-bats. M. Jarrett, N. Southwell, and N. Crowley each helped move runners and keep the offense rolling. T. Fuller and O. Roberts handled the pitching duties, combining for seven strikeouts and keeping Highland from gaining momentum. It was a good team win for Munster. The Mustangs showed focus and energy from the first pitch to the last and will look to carry that into their next game at home against Highland on Tuesday, April 15th at 4:30 PM.
