This past Thursday evening, the MHS Boys and Girls Swim Teams faced off against the Lake Central Indians in an exciting home meet. The Girls team celebrated a hard-fought victory, defeating Lake Central 101-85. The win was bolstered by outstanding performances in the relay events, with first-place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. Individual victories from Arantxa Rivera, Mia Terfler, Taylor Jerousek, Lilly King, and Emi Buschmann also played a critical role in securing the win. The depth of the Girls team continues to impress, as third and fourth-place finishes are becoming a consistent strength for the squad. The Boys team showed incredible determination but fell short against Lake Central with a final score of 109-77. Despite the loss, there were highlights, including strong individual wins from Cayden Spilde and Allan Galuszka, showcasing their resilience and skill.
