The Girls Basketball team handed Lowell its first conference loss by a score of 67-32. With the victory, the Mustangs raised their record to 5-4 and 2-0 in conference play. Before the game, the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Munster Basketball teams were introduced. Having the band and the cheerleaders in attendance helped to provide an electric atmosphere that propelled the Mustangs to victory. Munster was led by Nina Garner's 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals. Igbo Odeluga added 14 points and 8 rebounds and Helena Spencer chipped in 5 deflections and 6 steals. The JV dropped their contest 34-31 to drop their record to 6-3. The Mustangs travel to Illiana Christian on Monday, December 16 for their next contest.
