The Mustangs traveled to Kankakee Valley for their first NCC matchup of the season and came out victorious as they won 12-1 in a 5 inning matchup. Kaylee O'Connell pitched the complete game with 5 K's, 0 BB's, 2 Hits. She also had a solid day at the plate going 2-4. The Mustangs collected 17 hits in all. Other big days offensively: Cece Mason was 4-4 with a homerun, Emily Sirek and Morgan Kindy were 3-4 and Caroline Wendlinger was 2-4. The raises the Mustangs record to 5-4 and 1-0 in conference play. The JV team also came out victorious with a 19-2 victory. Addy Biel was 5-5 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI's; Deni Staehly was 3-5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's and Brooke Hoving was 3-5 with 2 RBI's.
