Our softball teams finally got a chance to play Saturday, April 6 once the weather broke. The varsity traveled to Evergreen Park (IL) and secured a 15-0 victory in 5 innings. Ally Compton pitched a complete game shutout with 8 K's and also went 3-3 with a solo homerun. Kayle O'Connell contributed two hits with a solo homerun. Two more Mustangs had a great day at the plate. Kylie Madure went 2-4 with 3 RBIs and Morgan Kindy was 4-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs. The Mustangs are in action on Monday, April 8 at Kankakee Valley. The victory brought the Mustangs to 4-4 on the season. The JV traveled to Penn for a doubleheader. They dropped the first game 13-3 and the second 9-2.
