The varsity baseball team played two games in Kentucky on Tuesday, March 26. In Game one they fell to McCracken County High School (KY) 13-1. The Mustangs rebounded in Game two with a 12-2 victory over Marshall County (KY). On Wednesday, March 27, the Mustangs traveled to Southern Illinois to play in the Mountain Dew Park minor league stadium. The Mustangs dropped a tough one to Warren Twp (IL) 4-3 and beat Murphysboro (IL) 16-10. During their time in Southern Illinois, the Mustangs were able to catchup with Denham Kozy, a 2023 graduate playing at John Logan. The Mustangs finished the trip 2-2 and are 3-2 on the season.
