ROMISON SAINT-LOUIS MUNSTER, INDIANA - Munster High School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Saint-Louis as the new Head Football Coach, effective July 1, 2024. With an impressive coaching and teaching background, Mr. Saint-Louis brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence that will undoubtedly elevate our football program to new heights. Having previously served as the Head Football Coach at Elkhart High School in Elkhart, Indiana, Mr. Saint-Louis has a proven track record of success both on and off the field. During his tenure at Elkhart High, he implemented innovative programs focused on character development, leadership training, community service and voluntary Bible study, all of which contributed to a significant improvement in discipline within the program. Under Coach Saint-Louis' leadership, Elkhart High saw a remarkable increase in player participation, from 127 to 143 players in just two years. He also spearheaded the creation of the first Junior High Strength and Conditioning Training program, demonstrating his dedication to developing athletes from a young age. Not only did Coach Saint-Louis make significant strides in player development, he also achieved notable success in enhancing academic performance of his players. His efforts resulted in zero academically ineligible players, a decrease in the number of students needing summer school, and an impressive increase in the team's GPA. In addition to his coaching role, Mr. Saint-Louis served as a Physical Education Teacher, where he implemented systematic changes to support student-athletes year-round. He expanded the Advanced Weights class, providing more students with the opportunity to enhance their physical fitness and overall well-being. Educationally, Mr. Saint-Louis is well-prepared to take on his new leadership role. He earned a B.A. in K-12 Physical Education from Elmhurst College and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis. When asked about how he felt about becoming the new MHS Football Coach, Coach Saint-Louis stated, “My family and I are honored and excited to join the Mustang family. Something special is happening in Munster. Our football program will be the standard on and off the field. Together, we will BUILD an EMPIRE and return Munster football back to its rightful place.” Mr. Mike Schultz, MHS Athletic Director, stated, I am thrilled to bring Coach Saint-Louis to Munster to lead our football program and to foster an elite student-athlete experience!
