Varsity boys basketball defeated Portage Saturday evening at the Munster Fieldhouse 48-45. The Mustangs got off to a slow start but rallied back to tie it at halftime. The Mustangs finished strong in the 4th knocking down some key free throws and shooting 50% in the second half. Josh Malloy and David Cundiff led the way for the Mustangs with 14 and 11 points, respectively. Jaelyn Johnson had 14 points for Portage to lead their team.
