Before the tornado impacted Munster three weeks ago, the Mustangs were busy competing on the course. On Monday, August 10, Munster Girls Golf competed in the KV Invitational at Sandy Pines Golf Course, finishing second overall behind Crown Point. Hannah Ingersoll led the way for the Mustangs with a 77, earning her third place individually. Emily Padilla followed with an 80, while Payton Ingersoll carded an 86 and Emilia Glombicki finished with an 89. The Mustangs put together a strong team performance against a competitive field and continue to build momentum as the season moves forward.
