The Munster Mustangs Varsity Baseball team continued their strong start to the season, improving to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play with a 5-3 win over Highland. Oliver Swinson earned Player of the Game honors, delivering a dominant performance on the mound. The right-hander threw six innings and struck out seven Highland Trojans to lead the Mustangs to victory. Munster also took time to recognize a bigger cause, thanking everyone who came out to support their Cancer Game benefiting ACS and Hope at Bat. The Mustangs won’t have to wait long for a rematch, as they travel to Highland tomorrow to face the Trojans once again.
