The Munster Mustangs Boys Golf team opened their season in strong fashion at Centennial Park, earning a decisive 164–213 win over DAC opponent Portage. Senior Beckett Hunt led the way, catching fire late with birdies on two of his final three holes to finish with an even-par 36 and claim Medalist honors. Juniors Vince Glombicki and Finn Kinsella provided key support, with Glombicki posting a 41. Kinsella impressed in his varsity debut, carding a 42 highlighted by a birdie on the par-5 fourth hole. Senior Jimmy Opat rounded out the scoring with a steady 45 to secure the team victory. The Mustangs are right back at it today as they head to Palmira for a tri-match against Highland and Lake Central.
