The Munster Mustang boys wrestling team battled to a 3rd-place finish at Sectionals this weekend in East Chicago. Merrillville took first with 306.5 points, followed by Lake Central at 269, and Munster right there with 266.5. Sectional champions for the Mustangs were Timmy Maldonado, Kaleb Moore, Wesaal Wardak, and Andrew Kooi. Even better—all 14 Mustangs punched their ticket to Regionals in Hobart this coming Saturday (2/7).
