The Seahorses delivered an impressive performance on Tuesday, earning victories across the board against Highland and Illiana Christian in conference action. The diving team set the tone early. Julian Sharp captured first place overall, with Van Mulcahy finishing as runner-up. Both divers achieving personal bests. On the girls’ side, Jenna Krieg, Jensen Kekelik and Sophia Zhou added valuable points with strong, consistent dives. Credit goes to Coach Mike Chelich, whose early-morning and after-school board sessions are clearly paying off. The growth in the diving group is easy to see. In the pool, freshman Vivian Koncalovic delivered one of the highlights of the night, taking the win in the 100-yard butterfly with a come-from-behind finish and a personal best.
