Varsity vs Mt Zion High School (2 - 1) Win Both first half and final Ms2 MtZ 1 The girls move to 12-3 on the season and puts them two wins up in conference on Mt. Zion, the second place team, while also dropping the Braves to 11-4-2 on the season. It was not the best soccer of the season for the Bulldogs. The girls struggled to pass the ball around like they can. Although, the first half against the wind, was a bit better. Paislee Welge was able to find her partner striker, Ella Walk, twice where Ella was able to find the back of the net. Mt. Zion got a free kick outside the box and had a great shot over the wall to close it 2-1. Other than that, Lainey Jacobs had most of her action with the ball at her feet, almost picking up her third assist of the season, while only needing to make one save on the night. The Bulldogs will need to show better when they play Monday…after prom, so we can focus on a huge game on the road at Normal west to keep us in a good spot for postseason seeding.
