The joy of coaching track is that you can try new combinations to give athletes opportunities. We had two athletes who pulled off 4 races to help out the team last night- Mady Marx and Selma Tilton. Cecily Smith also withdrew from the open 400 so she could sub in our 4x400 team. We pulled off a convincing victory in that race thanks in part to her willingness to accept the challenge. We saw a lot of personal records, but we still have a lot of goals to reach. Our team finished in 7th out of 20 teams, which represented a lot of the toughest competition we will see all season.
