Varsity vs Mattoon High School Win First half MS (road) 3 Mattoon 0 Final 5-0 MS moves to 9-2 on the season with a controlling road win over Mattoon. The Bulldogs dominated possession as Mattoon looked to make it difficult to score by playing quite defensively. Ella Walk was still able to have a great night scoring a hat trick for the Bulldogs. Hadley Grotelueschen had a great goal picking up a cross and hammering a ball past the keeper. Kennedy Davis closed out the scoring for the Bulldogs converting a PK. Once again the team was able to diffuse any attack, and kept Mattoon focusing on defense rather than looking to attack.
