The Junior Varsity and Varsity Golden Bear volleyball teams traveled to Eastbrook for a matchup with the Panthers on 10/2/25. The Varsity match proved to be an intense match from start to finish with both teams battling back and forth. The Golden Bears were able to get the win in this match 3-2 with scores of 19-25, 26-24, 25-20, 29-31 and 15-13. This was an exciting match to watch and some great individual stats to report from: Freshman Maylynn Morrison with 1 ace, 9 kills, 17 receptions and 16 digs. Senior Libero Sophia Bolton with 1 ace, 31 receptions and 31 digs. Senior Addi Grove with 10 kills, 1 reception and 7 digs. Sophomore Bentley Pegg with 2 kills, 48 assists and 18 digs Senior Shyan Bennett with 6 aces, 11 kills, 12 receptions and 25 digs Senior Hadley Hendrickson with 1 ace, 15 kills, 21 receptions and 21 digs. The Golden Bears will be back in action on Monday (10/6/25) here at home when they take on the Rebels from Randolph Southern. The JV game is scheduled to begin at 6pm. This is our "Pink Out" night so be sure to wear your pink.
