6th Grade: The girls traveled to Daleville and won in two sets (29-27, 25-17) team was led in digs by Jovi Dunlap with 6 digs , 2 aces. Jillian Goad had 9 aces, Hailey Grove 6 aces, Cora Greene 4 aces, and Berkeley Taylor wrapped it up with 3 aces. We play great and have bounced back to become 3-3 next game we travel to Selma on Wednesday. 7th Grade: 7th Grade Lady Bears Win at Daleville The Monroe Central 7th Grade Lady Bears came away with a solid road win at Daleville, defeating the Broncos in straight sets, 25-16 and 25-18. Mabry Cheesman led the way with an impressive all-around performance, recording 9 aces, 4 digs, and 3 assists. Ellie Lanter had a strong night as well, contributing 5 aces, 2 kills, and 1 dig. Blakely Burge kept the momentum going with 5 aces and 3 assists, while Delainee Whitehead added 4 aces and 3 digs. Alexa Tinsman made her presence felt with 4 kills and steady defensive play, collecting 2 digs. Adelyn Pugsley chipped in with an assist, and Kendal Johnson added an ace. All players on the roster saw action and contributed to the victory, showing the team’s depth and unity. The Lady Bears now improve their season record to 11-2. 8th Grade: The team traveled to Daleville Middle School and emerged victorious in 2 sets: 25-10, 25-18.
