The Jr High football team improved to 4 - 1 with a 22 to 8 victory over Blackford last evening. The Bears took a 22 to 0 lead into halftime after a dominate 1st half. The Bears got a defensive stop on the Bruins first series and turned it into a quick score then later in the 1st quarter got a pick six to go up 14 to 0. A nice drive in the 2nd quarter lead to another score. The defense was solid the entire game limiting Blackford to a late 4th quarter score. The Bears have a week off before hosting Wes Del on October 2nd.
