Monroe Central

The Lady Golden Bear volleyball teams traveled to Muncie Central last night. The Varsity Golden Bears had come out with high spirits but were having some issues with communication and understanding a new rotation. Many tried to work through these situations but ultimately Muncie Central didn't back down and won the match 3-0 with scores of 12-25, 18-25 and 21-25. Some stats to mention were from Senior Sophia Bolton with 10 receptions, 9 digs and 1 kill. Senior Hadley Hendrickson with 9 kills, 8 receptions, 2 digs and 1 ace. And Freshman Maylynn Morrison with 5 kills, 7 receptions and 7 digs. The Varsity team will be back in action tomorrow (9/13) when they host and compete in the Monroe Central invitational tournament. First matches are scheduled to begin at 9:00am.
