Monroe Central

Tonight, the Falcons of Winchester traveled to Monroe Central for a JV/Varsity matchup. The Varsity match also very much favored the Falcons from Winchester. This was a very strong Falcons team that refused to let up or watch balls touch the ground. They were able to stay strong throughout the entire match getting a 3-0 victory tonight with scores of 9-25, 9-25 and 14-25. Some mentionable stats for the Golden Bears tonight were from Senior Shyan Bennett having 6 kills, 17 receptions and 5 digs. Senior Hadley Hendrickson had 2 kills, 12 receptions and 2 digs. The Golden Bears are back in action tomorrow (9/10) when they travel to Alexandria. The JV match is slated to start at 6pm.
