The JV and Varsity Golden Bear volleyball teams traveled to Cowan tonight for a conference matchup with the Blackhawks. The JV Golden Bears got off to a great start in set one and were able to secure that set 25-17. The Blackhawks came back in set two and were able to carry that into set three winning 1-2 tonight with the final two sets having scores of 12-25 and 9-15. Sophomore Kyra Brockman contributed 4 aces, 5 kills and 6 digs for the team tonight. The Golden Bears will be back at home next Tuesday (9/9) when they faceoff with the Falcons from Winchester.
