Monroe Central

The Monroe Central Jr High Track teams started their season out with a bang. The Girls team topped Selma with a score of 77-23 while the Boys dominated with a score of 93-7. Top performers for the Boys were Corbin Lester in the 110 M hurdles, Beau Edmonds in the 100 and 400 M Dashes, Jackson Wines in the 1600 and 800 M Run, Luke Morgan in the 200 M Dash, Carson Seikman in the High Jump, Caden Dance in the Long Jump, Dylan Painter in the Shot Put, and Kaden Sullivan in the discus. The MC 4x1 and 4x4 relay teams also earned first place finishes. MC Boys placed 1st in every event at the meet. The Girls were lead by Jacee Lounsbury in the 100 M Hurdles, Brylie Tinsman in the 1600 and 800 M Runs, Cora Wagner in the 400 M Dash, and Karma Armor in the High Jump, Long Jump, and Shot put. The relay teams came in 1st place in both the 4x1 and 4x4 events. The teams will run next on Thursday at Blackford.
