Monroe Central Middle School Trounce Richmond By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Middle School won big over Richmond 18-0 on Tuesday. Monroe Central Middle School jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Haidyn K drew a walk, scoring one run, Gracie M tripled, scoring three runs, Bristol G drew a walk, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run. Monroe Central Middle School scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the second inning. Delainee W singled, scoring one run, Ivy P singled, scoring one run, Izzy M was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Lucy H drew a walk, scoring one run, and Haidyn doubled, scoring two runs. Monroe Central Middle School scored six runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. Alexa T singled, scoring two runs, Mati M singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Ivy singled, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run. Delainee earned the win for Monroe Central Middle School. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out eight and walking none. Alexis H took the loss for Richmond. The reliever went two-thirds of an inning, allowing six runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking one. Haidyn tossed one inning of scoreless ball for Monroe Central Middle School in relief. The righty surrendered one hit, striking out two and walking one. Monroe Central Middle School accumulated 10 hits in the game. Gracie provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Monroe Central Middle School with three runs batted in. The left fielder went 1-for-1 on the day. Ivy and Delainee each collected two hits for Monroe Central Middle School. Alexa stole two bases. Monroe Central Middle School worked the count all day, piling up eight walks. Monroe Central Middle School stole six bases in the game. Khloe D led Richmond with one hit in two at bats.
