Monroe Central Varsity Bears Fall After Strong Showing By Wes-Del Varsity Warriors By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Varsity Bears had trouble keeping up with Wes-Del Varsity Warriors in a 25-8 loss on Thursday. Monroe Central Varsity Bears were the first to get on the board in the first when Zoie Hood singled, scoring two runs. Wes-Del Varsity Warriors jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when Bailee West singled, scoring one run, Kenzie Anderson doubled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run. Monroe Central Varsity Bears captured the lead, 5-4, in the top of the second after Wes-Del Varsity Warriors committed an error, Wes-Del Varsity Warriors committed an error, and Jayme Brannan doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Wes-Del Varsity Warriors took the lead, 8-5, in the bottom of the second thanks to doubles by West, Anderson, and Devyn Jaycox.
