The Monroe Central Lady Bears picked up their second win on the season by defeating Daleville 51-35 in their home opener. Avery Thomas lead the Bears with 13 points and 5 assists. Brynlee Patterson followed with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Addy Puckett finished the game with 9 points and a team high 8 rebounds. The Lady Bears finished the first half with a 5 point lead but quickly came out in the second half and pushed the lead to 20 points ant the end of the 3rd quarter to seal the win. The Bears are back in action on Saturday for a 12 noon tip @ Muncie Burris. Go Bears 🐻
