The Lady Golden Bears were on the road last night to take on the Knights of Northeastern. The Varsity team came out looking pretty strong to start the first set making some nice defensive plays with their attack coverage. The Knights were serving well making our service reception off balance. Our Lady Golden Bears came up short of taking any of the sets last night with scores of 14-25, 15-25, and 14-25. Junior Shyann Bennet stood out tonight as she is continuing to strengthen her attack and ball placement while at the net. Tonight she had 8 kills, 3 digs, and 1 ace. Her leadership skills on the court tonight definitely stood out.
