Our Varsity Golden Bears got off to a bit of a slow start and found themselves in a deficit in set one. However, they battled back and just came shy of closing out set 1. This did not stop them though, they came back with determination and took the next three sets to win tonight's match with scores of 27-29, 25-16, 25-15, and 25-14. Impressive on the floor tonight was Junior Angie Burress. She put up some pretty impressive numbers tonight. She had 5 aces, 12 digs, 21 reception passes with no errors, and 2 kills. Great job on the court tonight Angie and to all of the Lady Bears in overcoming some obstacles and achieving goals set by your coaches. Our Golden Bears are back in action yet again tomorrow night (8/29/24) for their fourth straight match this week as they travel to take on the Knights of Northeastern. JV starts at 6:00 p.m. with the Varsity match right after.
