Monroe Central

The 13th Annual Meister Family Invitational was hosted by Monroe Central on August 24th. The Jr. High Cross Country Teams ran for 1.8 miles against 14 other schools and some tough competition. The Girls team came in 5th out of 8 complete teams and the Boys were 7th out of 12 complete teams. Leading the Girls was Lillie Moery with a strong finish in 10th place. Mila Morris ran well to finish 29th, followed by Brynlee Dumpert in 33rd place out of 84 girls. Ada Wagner, Jovie Dunlap, Avery Kehoe, and Caroline Hinshaw completed the top 7. Great races were ran by Scarlett Davis, Aubree Case, Madolynn Fortriede, and Evelynn Stockwell as well. In the Boys race, Adrin Milhollin was the top Bear, coming in 19th. Ashton Dance had a great race, finishing 27th. Will Hinshaw ran hard, finishing 47th out of 132 boys. Liam Brown, Avan Johnson, Devin Baker, and Caleb Bailey finished out the top 7. Braxton Wright, Asher Johnson, Levi Bailey, and Landon Baker all deserve praise for their efforts today also. The Jr High Cross Country teams will run next on Tuesday, August 27th at Driver Middle School.
