The boys varsity basketball team came out slow against county rival Randolph Southern. They found themselves down 8 to 4 after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter the bears added a little more offense. It was tied at 14 at halftime. In the 3rd quarter neither team had much offense in the end the bears took a 1 point lead at the end of the quarter. The offense showed up in the 4th quarter by scoring 25 points. Josiah Cleveland made 8 straight free throws to seal up the win on Senior Night. Josiah Cleveland lead the bears with 12 points. Carter Duncan added 10 points. Hayden Taylor and Easton Foster both had 9 points. The bears end the regular season 10-14. The bears play Friday at 6:00pm in IHSAA Sectional #40 at Alexandria facing the winner of Winchester/Alexandria.
