Monroe Central ended their season with an entertaining and well played road loss to Northeastern 53-47. Pierceton Erwin led the Bears with 12 points followed by Caden Dance with 11. Conner Baker added eight points, Maddox Taylor chipped in 6 points, Issac Middleton scored 5, Chandler Breedlove scored 3 and.Corbin Lester rounded out the scoring with 2 points. Wade Dawson was cited for outstanding hustle and defense. The Bears improved quite a bit this year, and outside of their early season loss to a very good Yorktown team, they competed and were in position to win games against several quality programs throughout the season.
