Golden Bear Grapplers finished 4th in the team race, while missing 2 varsity wrestlers from the line-up. Individually we had 4 wrestlers make the finals, with one winning a MEC title. While all 11 wrestlers placed top 6 in their weight classes. Capturing his 2nd MEC title Junior Jerimiah Ullom @190, finishing in 2nd place were @120 Freshman Lane Whitehead, @138 Freshman Caden Shockney, and @150 Senior Zac Martin. Finishing in 5th place @106 Freshman Maria Oliphant, @113 Senior Mak Brainerd, @165 Freshman Chelsea Erwin, and @175 Freshman Christian Erwin. In addition @126 Freshman Raegan Quattlebaum and @157 Freshman Tristan Epperhart finished in 6th place. Your grappling Golden Bears are back on the mat next Saturday in the Delta Sectional starting at 9:00AM. As always GO BEARS!!!!
