Monroe Central

Monroe Central lost a hard fought battle to Eastern Hancock 22-19. The Bears played extremely hard and competed leading most of the game until losing the lead in waning moments. Monroe Central was led in scoring by Maddox Taylor with 5 points. Caden Dance and Pierceton Erwin each added 4 points while Connor Baler, Isaac Middleton, and Wade Dawson rounded out the scoring with 2 points a piece. Pierceton Erwin, Chandler Breedlove, Caden Dance, and Corbin Lester were all cited with outstanding rebounding efforts. The Bears turned in an excellent team defensive effort and continue to improve.
